Dr Adeel Ahmad is a UK-qualified family physician with over 14 years of experience. He is a Member and Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners, UK. He has a special interest in musculoskeletal medicine with a Masters in Sports and Exercise Medicine and nearing completion of his PhD in Sports and Exercise Medicine from the University of Nottingham, UK. He is also a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) from NAHQ, USA, and has been involved in various healthcare quality and performance-improvement projects.
Dr Adeel has led clinical specialties, residency training programs, health promotion strategies, and chronic disease management programs. He also has a keen interest in evidence-based medicine, clinical audits, and health informatics. He actively participates in research activities, has various publications, and reviews research articles for international journals. He is also a WONCA life member and an academic member of the WONCA East Mediterranean Region (EMR) working party on Research.
